On September 23, two NATO reconnaissance aircraft monitored the situation in temporarily occupied Crimea. Crimean Wind wrote about this on Saturday with reference to the air travel tracking portal Flightradar.

A Lockheed EP-3E Aries II aircraft with the call sign QW89 appeared in the air over Romania and its coastal waters. We are talking about a standard long-range electronic reconnaissance aircraft of the US Navy.

Another aircraft also took to the skies – a Bombardier Challenger 650 ARTEMIS with the call sign CL60. It took off from Siauliai airfield in Lithuania and is conducting reconnaissance over Romanian territory along the borders of Ukraine and Moldova. Previously, the US Army used Bombardier Challenger 650 Artemis aircraft for electronic reconnaissance.

The US and other allies are sharing intelligence with Ukraine in real time.

At the same time, the Russian occupiers this morning announced explosions in Sevastopol, supposedly air defense was working, and rocket debris was falling from the sky.

Let us remind you that on the morning of September 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced an attack by guided missiles and drones on the temporarily occupied Crimea. Later it became known about a missile attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. The Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the death of one military man, although he was later called “missing in action.” According to foreign media reports, Ukraine used Storm Shadow missiles for the attack in Sevastopol.
