The 78th session of the UN General Assembly will take place from 19 to 24 September. Usually heads of all states are invited to it, and many, even the most odious politicians, often use this platform to personally tell where they are leading their countries. But in the current situation, Lukashenko does not risk traveling to the West, nor does Vladimir Putin. Russia will also be represented at the forum by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The delegation from Lukashenko, as announced, is going to “focus on the tasks of promoting a consolidating and creative agenda, which emphasizes the peaceful nature of our national priorities and countering initiatives aimed at undermining the national interests of our country.”
Also at the UN, Aleynik will talk about “unilateral coercive measures, in particular, their negative impact on the sustainable development of individual countries, entire regions, the global economy and trade, and their contradiction to international law.”
Let us remind you that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will be present at the General Assembly meeting during the high-level week in the United States.
