For the first time in two weeks, a personal video appeared on social networks of the leader of Chechnya controlled by the Kremlin, Ramzan Kadyrov, amid rumors of a sharp deterioration in his health and even death.

“I strongly advise everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the Internet to take a walk in the fresh air and sort out their thoughts,” said the post under the video. However, in the video itself, Kadyrov speaks of a more abstract text, he says that he listens to the Koran and walks several kilometers.
Before this, the last videos with Kadyrov, in which the time of filming can be determined, appeared on his accounts and on the state channel of the republic more than two weeks ago.
Rumors about a sharp deterioration in Kadyrov’s health began to spread on Thursday evening: one such message appeared on the opposition Chechen telegram channel NIYSO, which on the evening of September 15 reported that Kadyrov fell into a loss of consciousness.
Let’s recall that the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Andrei Yusov, also announced on Friday that Kadyrov is in serious condition.
A few hours after Yusov’s statement, a 10-second video appeared on social networks of Kadyrov and his assistant Umar Daudov, in which Kadyrov, together with his relatives, is shown from behind. It is impossible to understand when this video was recorded.
Until Sunday, the last videos on Kadyrov’s social networks, on his official website and on the website of ChGTRK Grozny, which could be used to confirm the time of filming, were dated September 1. In the video, Kadyrov is in line in honor of the beginning of the school year at the Grozny Education Center.
After September 1, Kadyrov did not appear in videos or photos related to current events. On his channels, such events are commented only through text messages.
On September 8, a video of a walk with his family and his jogging was published on social networks, on September 9 – a recording of a conversation with his grandson Yusuf, on September 10 – a video from a meeting with his mother, on September 12 – a video of a trip to the head of the Chechen government Magomed Daudov. Kadyrov does not say a word in any of the videos. It is impossible to determine the time the videos were recorded.
As Meduza wrote, on Sunday, after the video was published on Kadyrov’s Telegram channel, human rights activist and Chechen oppositionist Abubakar Yangulbaev wrote that Kadyrov had died. He did not provide any evidence or references to the source of the information.
