Ukrainian defenders destroyed this enemy equipment in temporarily occupied Svetlodarsk, Donetsk region.
Ukrainian fighters on Saturday, September 16, destroyed two Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems in the temporarily occupied Svetlodarsk, Donetsk region. The Office of Strategic Communications of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (StratCom Armed Forces of Ukraine) reported this on its Telegram channel.
The report states that at about 12:30 in the temporarily occupied Svetlodarsk, the Defense Forces successfully “demilitarized” two Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems.
Both air defense systems attempted to protect nearby units of brigade headquarters and airborne divisions of the occupying forces.
The Buk-M3 is a medium-range air defense system for ground forces.
It is used to combat the maneuvering of aerodynamic targets, fire on radio-contrast ground targets and engage surface targets in conditions of intense countermeasures from both fire and electronic warfare.
As we wrote earlier, the Defense Forces in southern Ukraine destroyed three enemy boats with their crews.
