Severodonetsk remains one of the most intense areas of struggle, with the defenders of the Armed Forces trying to establish full control over the city.
The Russian occupiers forcibly removed part of Severodonetsk’s population from the areas they occupied. This was announced on Saturday, June 4, by the head of the Severodonetsk military-civilian administration Alexander Stryuk in a telethon.
According to him, before the attack began, about 13,000 people lived in the city.
“Considering the fact that the ongoing street fighting was happening on the third day, the population was, it remains. Except for a small part managed by orcs who forcibly brought out of the city towards the occupied territories , ”Stryuk said.
According to him, the situation in Severodonetsk is difficult, but the Ukrainian military is doing everything to push the enemy out of the city.
He added that the city has a limited supply of food that will last for several days. Above all, residents need fuel for generators, as there is no centralized supply of electricity and water. There is also a definite need for medicine, but it is impossible to determine the need of the townspeople today.
Recall that Russia is deploying additional forces to attack Severodonetsk.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the shooting near Severodonetsk, two reporters of the international agency Reuters were injured, their driver died.
