In the United States, a special United 24 platform was launched to collect donations for Ukraine’s needs.
Volodymyr Zelensky’s Vyshyvanka, where the President greeted Ukrainians on Vyshyvanka Day on May 19, was sold at a charity auction in Washington for $ 100,000. On Saturday, June 4, the Voice of America reports.
The charity auction was held at Ukraine House in Washington as part of the United 24 initiative. Proceeds are transferred to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine and used to purchase weapons, medical equipment or humanitarian aid for people affected by the war.
Buying the lot with Zelensky’s embroidered shirt was the American law firm Asters USA.

In addition to Zelensky’s vyshyvanka, other lots were presented at auction: the Ukrainian flag signed by Zelensky, a bottle of wine that survived in the vault under Russian bombs, shirts by Artem Dovbik and Andriy Yarmolenko , where they played a successful match against Scotland, and much more.
All philanthropists can select a specific fundraising project. Donations are tax deductible.
The United States became the first country where the official presentation of the United 24 platform was held. At its opening, speeches by Volodymyr Zelensky and the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov were presented. The auction was personally attended by Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova.
Recall that the first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya touched the network with a spicy post on Vyshyvanka Day.
