Russia currently deploys 46 launchers of the Iskander missile system on the border with Ukraine. This was announced by Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, at the annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES), reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“Russia currently deploys 46 launchers of the Iskander missile system along the border with Ukraine. It was in this complex that the attacks were carried out on September 8. Both with ballistic missiles and cruise missiles from the Iskander complex. Yes , there is a systematic destruction of, first of all, civilian objects of our state,” – he said.

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate added that the Russians are actively using aviation, although they are afraid of the Ukrainian air defense.

Skibitsky called our air defense effective, as a large percentage of missiles and drones sent by the enemy to our civilian and military targets were destroyed.

We remind you that, according to intelligence data, Russia has concentrated more than 420 thousand military personnel in the territories temporarily occupied by Ukrainian, including Crimea.
