They will review the decisions of the Military Military Commission on limited fitness for military service, issued after the outbreak of a full-scale war.
The Ministry of Health and law enforcement agencies will verify the decision of the Military Military Commission on limited suitability for military service issued after February 24, 2022. This was announced by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
“Together with law enforcement agencies, we are working to check certain categories of people who have been given the status of limited fitness… We will check VHCs where problems have been identified, we will check medical institutions where high percentage of unfitness decisions made. We are now developing an algorithm, “- said the minister.
Lyashko noted that a large number of criminal cases have already been opened, and also added: the recently approved changes to the criteria for suitability for military service will lead to the fact that “a person is not eligible , but it was appropriate.”
“All the changes have to do with the category “not suitable for peacetime, limited suitability for wartime,” the minister stressed.
Let’s recall that on August 30, President Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on the work of military medical commissions and the results of their inspections.
The next day, the Verkhovna Rada announced the adoption of the VLK reform laws.
