The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about this in the evening report on September 7.
The defense forces, as a result of assault operations, have partial success south of Bakhmut, displace the enemy from their positions and consolidate on the achieved lines, the report says.
At the same time, the operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 34 military clashes occurred. Defense aviation carried out 9 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and on positions of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
As a result of the assault operations, the Defense Forces have partial success south of Bakhmut, dislodge the enemy from their positions and consolidate on the achieved lines.
Rakurs reported that the Russian occupation army in the Kupyansk direction is trying to form a shock fist of hundreds of thousands of soldiers to break through Ukrainian positions. However, the invaders lack armored vehicles.
