Of these, two thousand committed disciplinary violations, approximately 25 thousand – administrative and 15 thousand – criminal.
46,000 citizens are included in the registry of persons who have committed corruption and corruption-related offenses. This was announced by the head of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption Alexander Novikov on the air of the telethon on September 5.
“Today there are 46,000 people in the register. Two thousand of them have committed disciplinary offenses, about 25,000 – administrative and 15,000 – criminal,” he said.
According to Novikov, there is a risk in enrollment. In particular, this is the draft law 9587-d on amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and other laws of Ukraine on improving the procedure for bringing to justice persons authorized to perform state or local functions self-government.
“This draft law can completely destroy the register of people who have committed corruption-related and corruption-related offenses. If this law is adopted today, neither journalists nor citizens will will see information about those who have committed administrative offenses related to corruption, disciplinary violations. , as well as 15,000 convicted of criminal crimes. This is the main risk for this registry, and not the closure of several fields,” said the NACP leader.
It will be recalled that the previous day, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption opened access to the registry of corrupt officials, taking into account security aspects. The NACP received a response from the Ministry of Defense that there are no risks in the case of restoring access to the register, however, given information about the place of work, position at the time the person committed corruption or offense related corruption is not reflected.
The register of corrupt officials is a portal that contains information about all individuals and legal entities that have committed corruption offenses. Here you can get a certificate on the presence or absence of information about yourself and the legal entity to which measures have been applied for a corruption violation.
