Sowing of rapeseed has been completed by agricultural producers of Volyn, Poltava, Sumy and Ternopil regions.
Farmers from all regions of Ukraine are sowing rapeseed and have begun to sow winter crops for grain. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
So far, September 5, 699.7 thousand hectares of winter crops have been sown, including 654.9 thousand hectares of rapeseed and 44.8 thousand hectares of cereals: wheat – 42.5 thousand hectares, barley – 1.2 thousand hectares. ha and rye – 1.1 thousand ha.
Sowing of rapeseed has been completed by agricultural producers of Volyn, Poltava, Sumy and Ternopil regions. The largest area under rapeseed is in Ternopil region – 72.5 thousand hectares, Vinnitsa region – 67.2 thousand hectares and Kirovohrad region – 59.4 thousand hectares.
It is reported that most farmers do not plan to significantly change the area under winter crops in 2024.
Recall that more than 33 million tons of grain were harvested in Ukraine.
