Due to an emergency railway situation in the Odessa region, train 54 Odessa-Dnepr was significantly delayed. The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on the morning of September 4.

“Railway workers have found a way to resume traffic safely for passengers, now we are doing everything to minimize the delay. Arrival at the Dnieper is expected in the afternoon,” the company insisted.

It was noted that a free lunch will be arranged for passengers on the road and the necessary transfers to the Dnieper to continue the planned journey.

According to local Telegram channels, the Odessa-Dnepr passenger train derailed in the evening in the village of Zherebkovo, Odessa region. He allegedly hit the last wagon of a freight train, also derailed.

No one was killed.
