The enemy launched Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the south and southeast (Cape Chauda, Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia). In total, 32 “shaheeds” were launched, attacking the Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
The Ukrainian military destroyed 23 enemy attack drones. The Air Force and Air Defense Forces of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces worked on air targets. They used fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces and units of mobile fire groups.
Recall that on the night of September 4, Russian invaders massively attacked the Odessa region with Shahed strike drones. The civil infrastructure of the Danube region was under attack. The attack lasted three hours, and, despite the work of air defense, there were hits. 17 drones were shot down.
And in the Dnipropetrovsk region, six UAVs were shot down, but there were hits on a critical infrastructure facility.
