The protest was organized by Iraqi refugee Salwan Mamika. About 200 more people got in on the action.
In the city of Malmö in Sweden, a migrant from Iraq, Salvan Momika, carried out another act of burning the Koran, reports SVT.
About 200 people also came to the action. Another person tried to enter the police border and join Momika, he was detained.
Currently, around ten people are in jail, two more have been arrested on suspicion of rioting.
Due to the tense atmosphere, the action ended early. Salvan Momika himself left the scene, accompanied by law enforcement officers.
Recall that on June 28, with the permission of the police in central Stockholm, Mamika tore pages from the Koran and set fire to it. He carried out similar actions at the embassies of Iraq and Iran, as well as at the parliament building. The police filed a case against him for inciting hatred.
On July 20, in Baghdad, hundreds of protesters entered the Swedish embassy and set it on fire. The attack on the embassy was a reaction to the fact that the Swedish police allowed a rally near the Iraqi embassy in Stockholm to burn the Koran.
