In Ukraine, the list of diseases for suitability assessment has been updated, as well as the procedure for determining the service area for those with limited suitability and the procedure for adopting a VLK resolution.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved a new list of diseases, according to which suitability for military service is assessed and military service is streamlined by those with limited dimensions. This was reported by the Ukrainian Military Pages.
In particular, it was noted that the department has completely updated the sickness schedule to assess the fitness of military personnel; detailed the procedure for determining the service area for those with limited size; clarified the procedure for adopting the decision of the All-Union Leninist Committee on the causal relationship of illness, injury (wounds, contusions, mutilations) to military service and defense of the Motherland; clarified the list of documents to be submitted for consideration.
Earlier, in paragraph 20.4 of Section III of the Regulations, it was determined that during the war, according to the articles of the Schedule of Diseases, which provide options – an individual assessment of suitable or limited fitness for service, the VLC must make a decision “fit for military service”, except for articles 2-c, 4-in, 5-in, 12-in, 13-in, 14-in, 17-in, 21- in., 22-in. Now the words and figures “except for Articles 2-v, 4-v, 5-v, 12-v, 13-v, 14-v, 17-v, 21-v, 22-v” are not included in the Regulation, ie, e. Each will be identified as “controversial” appropriate articles.
Note that articles which can also be mobilized:
-
2-c – clinically cured tuberculosis;
-
4-c – viral hepatitis with minor dysfunction;
-
5-c – asymptomatic HIV;
-
13-c – diseases of the endocrine system with minor dysfunctions;
-
14-c – mild short-term painful manifestations of mental illnesses;
-
17-c – neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders (phobias, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, adaptive, somatofort and other neurotic disorders, neurasthenia, reaction to severe stress) with moderate, short-term manifestations;
-
21-c – slowly progressive diseases of the central nervous system;
-
22-c – episodic and paroxysmal disorders.
As for those who are partially fit, now, together with the decision on limited fitness for military service, the VLK must adopt a decision on the suitability of a serviceman for service in a specific military specialty (VOS).
If a serviceman is recognized as unfit for service in a military specialty, the unit commander, before transferring a serviceman to another position, may send him to the VLK to determine his suitability for service in a new military specialty.
It is noted that the procedure for the service of military personnel recognized by the VLK as partially suitable is determined by the Regulations on the passage of military service of citizens of Ukraine in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approved by the presidential decree of December 10, 2008 No. 1153 and the Instruction regulating the implementation of Regulations .170).
Earlier, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said that there is no critical situation in the reserve mobilization of the army today.
