In the capital of Latvia – Riga – NATO exercises began in the planning of operations, which will be attended by senior and senior officials of the Alliance member countries and partner country Sweden. “The purpose of the Steadfast Pyramide Steadfast Pinnacle exercise is to improve the ability of senior and senior officers and commanders to plan and execute joint operations,” the message said.

It was noted that Steadfast Pyramid 2023, which will last until September 8, is the first part of the exercise organized by the NATO Transformation Command and the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe. Senior and senior officers engage in it to improve staff planning skills.

And the second part of the Steadfast Pyramid 2023 exercise will take place from 10 to 15 September and provides for the training of senior commanders in the field of operational planning.

“The Steadfast Pyramid and Steadfast Pinnacle exercises have been held in Latvia since 2011. During the exercise, Latvia enhances the host nation’s support capabilities and skills for cooperation with other NATO members and strategic regional partner,” the agency wrote.

It was previously reported that NATO countries will conduct exercises in the Baltic Sea to repel Russian attacks. Military personnel from all NATO countries located in the Baltic will take part in the two-week maneuver.
