Since the beginning of August, 1,433 people, including 343 children, have been evacuated from the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region. This was announced on Monday, August 28, by the head of the military administration of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov.
“We continue to work on the evacuation of the civilian population from dangerous regions of the Kupyansky district. So far, 715 people have been evacuated, including 165 children. In addition, 718 people, 178 of them children , left the communities under constant shelling,” he said.
The head of the OVA indicated that in total since the beginning of August, 1,433 people, including 343 children, have been evacuated from dangerous areas of Kupyanshchina.
Sinegubov urged locals, who are still living under cover, to apply to the Unified Humanitarian Coordination Center to get evacuation assistance.
Recall that earlier the authorities began mandatory evacuation from 37 settlements of Kupyansky district of Kharkiv region in connection with the intensification of Russian shelling.
