The Ukrainian military in Poland completed a civil-military cooperation training course according to NATO standards. This was announced on Monday, August 28, in the Telegram of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The exercises took place on the basis of the Foreign Mission Training Center of the Polish Armed Forces as part of multilateral cooperation with representatives of the United States, Britain, Italy and Poland.
“Services of all levels of military command, from tactical to strategic, took part in the course,” said the General Staff.
It was specified that the training lasted for a week. During this time, Ukrainian fighters studied the planning and implementation of civil-military cooperation activities, the basics of international humanitarian law, and considered the process of making military decisions.
“Officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine learned the basics of deployment and operation of civil-military cooperation centers, and also adopted international experience in civil-military cooperation and protection of the civilian population in armed forces battle,” the report said.
Earlier, the Canadian military showed how they taught the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the skills of modern combat.
