Russian specialists will conduct molecular genetic examinations to identify the ten people who died in the plane crash.
Russian specialists took the flight recorders from the plane crash site of Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on its Telegram channel on Friday, August 25.
The Russians are planning to conduct molecular genetic examinations to identify the bodies of the dead.
“During the initial investigative actions, the bodies of 10 dead were found at the crash site. Molecular genetic tests are being conducted to establish their identities,” the report said.
Russian investigators also seized objects and documents that could help establish all the circumstances of the plane crash.
Recall that on August 23, Prigozhin’s Embraer Legacy 600 business jet crashed in the Tver region of the Russian Federation. There were 10 people on board the plane – seven passengers, including Prigozhin himself and Wagner PMC commander Dmitry Utkin, and three crew members.
Subsequently, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin commented on the death of the leader of the Wagnerites. The Kremlin leader called Prigozhin “a man of hard luck” and said that although he “made mistakes”, he “still achieved the desired results.”
