This is reported by the Office of the Attorney General.
In 2016, he was reported to be suspected of participating in a terrorist organization.
During the ATO, Rusich militants under the command of Milchakov and Petrovsky shot from an ambush a column of Aidar near Luhansk. The surviving fighters were tortured and finished off on the spot, filming it on photos and videos. Milchakov and Petrovsky cut off their wounded ears, carved the emblem of “Rusich” on their cheeks – a brace, finished them off with shots to the head. An even scarier photo was posted by Petrovsky and Milchakov from Debaltseve in 2015. There they cut off the faces of captured Ukrainian soldiers.
As part of its cooperation with Europol, the Office of the Prosecutor General received information about the detention of this person in Helsinki by the Finnish Migration Service.
In order to prevent the return of the suspect to Russia, which would make it impossible to extradite him to Ukraine, on August 15, 2023, the prosecutors sent a request to the relevant Finnish authorities for the detention and temporary arrest of the person and provided the Finnish side with all the necessary information to ensure the arrest, the prosecutor’s office said.
