According to Swedish media, Kristersson met Zelensky at his country residence Harpsund. The Ukrainian delegation included several ministers, but it is not specified who exactly.
From the Swedish side, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tobias Bilström, Minister of Foreign Trade Johan Forssell, civil protection Karl-Oscar Bolin and defense Paul Jonsson are taking part in the talks.
Zelensky’s priority is defense cooperation, including the “powerful” Swedish CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles.
Our soldiers are already using them effectively on the front lines. We also plan to produce CV-90 in Ukraine,” he said.
Recall that on August 19, the President began a working visit to Sweden together with First Lady Elena Zelenskaya. Meetings are scheduled with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, King Charles XVI and Queen Silvia, Parliament Speaker Andreas Norlen and heads of parliamentary parties.
