Maria Berlinskaya said the specific location of the event was “revealed only to registered verified participants a few hours” before it began.
One of the organizers of the drone exhibition Wild birds in Chernihiv, Maria Berlinskaya commented on her Facebook page on the incident that took place in the city: a strike in its center on Saturday, August 19.
He said he wanted to “avoid the manipulation that some bloggers are already hyping.”
“There was a blow, but where and when, official bodies must declare,” the report said.
According to him, the event was stopped as soon as an air raid alert was announced. In addition, participants were told several times to hide.
“Unfortunately, some people still came out. Everyone who went to the shelter was unharmed. I myself entered the shelter a minute before the impact,” Berlinskaya explained.
The organizer emphasized that the event was officially agreed with the local authorities, and the venue was also provided by the latter.
“The announcement that there will be an event is in the public domain. But the specific place is only reported to the registered verified participants a few hours before the event. All the data of the participants has been given to the concerned authorities,” said he.
According to Berlinskaya, the organizers of the exhibition are now working with the SBU, providing “all the necessary data for an operational investigation.”
“Before that, in agreement with local authorities, events were held in Kyiv, Lvov, Dnipro, Kharkov,” he concluded and asked the public “not to engage in manipulations,” while there was no official information.
Recall that Russian war criminals on Saturday, August 19, opened fire in the center of Chernihiv.
