Russian troops opened fire on Kherson, killing a 72-year-old man, wounding two more people. This was announced on the evening of August 18 by the head of the regional military administration Alexander Prokudin on Telegram.
“The invaders killed an elderly resident of Kherson. The Russian army shelled Kherson again. The enemy entered the housing sector. A 72-year-old man received incongruous injuries,” he wrote .
A 93-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman were also injured. They received the necessary medical care on the spot.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said that around 20:00 the invaders opened fire on a village near Kherson: “Injuries incompatible with life were received by a local resident,” the report said.
In this fact, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, accompanied by planned murder.
Recall that on the night of August 14, Russian troops struck residential areas of Kherson. Three civilians were injured in the attack.
