The version of Scott Pilgrim’s story in anime will have changes and news, according to the creator of the comics
Scott Pilgrim’s anime, which arrives on November 17th on Netflix, will have some surprises and news in relation to the comics. The news was given by Bryan Lee O’Malley, the creator of the HQ. He confirmed such changes in the plot through Instagram stories, last Thursday, the 17th. Check it out!
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but [o anime] It’s not like the comics. I already wrote the comics and you can read them whenever you want. The anime is unique and will be new in many ways. Don’t expect a word-for-word remake. Lots of fun surprises to come.”
Scott Pilgrim’s story has already won a live-action adaptation in 2010 and was directed by Edgar Wright, who will executive produce the anime. In addition, the actors of this production will also be back in the comic book universe of O’Malley, but this time they lent their voices to the characters. Among the stars who will be in the anime, is Michael Cera, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, brie larson It is Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
