As a result of shelling by Russian aggressors in the Kupyansky district, a 73-year-old woman died. This was announced by the head of Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov on Telegram on Saturday morning, August 12.
“This morning at about 5:10 am, the enemy shelled the town of Kupyansk-Uzlovoi, Kupyansky district. A residential building was destroyed. A 73-year-old woman died. Emergency services are working in place,” he wrote.
According to Sinegubov, in the past 24 hours, the enemy attacked the settlements of Bogodukhovsky, Kharkov, Chuguevsky, Izyumsky and Kupyansky districts from artillery, mortars and other weapons.
Under fire were Kupyansk, Petropavlovka, Veterinary, Strelechya, Gatishche, Volchansky Farms, Sheikovka, Cherneshchina and other settlements. Residential houses and outbuildings were damaged.
Recall that in the Kharkiv region there is a mandatory evacuation of civilians from settlements located directly on the front line. First of all, we are talking about the Kupyansky district.
The day before, the Russians attacked Kupyansk with FAB-250 guided bombs. Two civilians were injured.
