One of the victims of the explosion on the territory of the plant in Sergiev Posad died. This was stated by the Russian propaganda news agency TASS with reference to the Sergiev Posad Central District Hospital.
“Doctors are fighting for the lives of five others, they have large burns on their bodies,” added the media contact.
Recall that the explosion occurred in Sergiev Posad in a warehouse with pyrotechnics of the Piro-Ros company, which, as reported in the Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant, is adjacent to the business territory, but not included in it.
As a result of this incident, 52 people sought medical help. Of these, eight are in the hospital. The explosion shattered windows on two streets in residential buildings and social institutions.
Rescuers are clearing the rubble, 150 people are involved in eliminating the consequences of the explosion.
Recall that in the city of Sergiev Posad, near Moscow, on Wednesday, August 9, there was a powerful explosion at the Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant.
Even earlier, on August 3, in the city of Voskresensk near Moscow, a fire broke out at a battery plant.
