The aggressor country Russia has already used a significant part of the previously accumulated arsenal of missiles, but it is necessary to be ready for a new aggravation this autumn. To confront the enemy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need more air defense systems and missiles for them.

Yuri Ignat, speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, commented on this on the air of the telethon, commenting on the possibility of increasing Russian missile strikes in the autumn months.
As for the autumn that awaits us, aggravation is really possible. But at the same time, we remember that Russia used a huge arsenal of missiles, which it had accumulated for quite a long time, during last autumn and winter. Therefore, one should, of course, expect an aggravation, but it is possible that there will be fewer such missile strikes, such a mass as it was then. At the same time, we need more weapons, because we have also exhausted them, we have used a serious resource. Therefore, we are waiting for new systems and new additional missiles from our allies. I mean anti-aircraft guided missiles, – said the representative of the Air Force.
He also added that Russia’s lack of missiles will be compensated by an increase in the number of attack drones.
There are fewer missiles and more drones. You see, drones are not rockets, they are a cheaper type of ammunition, the production of which they are already establishing on their territory, at least they say so. We are talking about “Shaheds” and other drones. That is, Russia is building up this type of ammunition. UAVs are not an easy target,” Ignat added.
According to him, Ukraine should also build up countermeasures against them.
Recall that on August 4, Ignat said that, in the absence of Russian missiles, he would probably resort to strikes against the critical infrastructure of Ukraine with kamikaze drones.
