For the first time in an international document, “rashism” is mentioned as the state ideology of the Russian Federation.
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly approved a resolution establishing a special tribunal to hold Russia accountable for war crimes in Ukraine. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, Evgenia Kravchuk.
He also noted the fact that for the first time in an international document, “rashism” was mentioned as the state ideology of the Russian Federation.
“Finally, the resolution supports the creation of a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine to bring Russian officials to justice, and also calls for the condemnation of the Russian state ideology of racism,” said publication.
Also, the OSCE PA in this resolution calls for the convening of lawful meetings only in countries that support visa bans for Russian parliamentarians.
At the same time, in countries willing to issue visas to citizens of the Russian Federation, the OSCE PA will not hold its meetings.
The resolution also called for not appointing Russian parliamentarians who supported the war to positions of responsibility in the Assembly until the end of the invasion.
Also, the Standing Committee of the Assembly supported the decision to establish a Special Committee in Support of the Parliament of Ukraine to better coordinate consultations between parliamentarians on a wide range of issues related to full invasion of the Russian Federation, as well as to provide assistance to the people of Ukraine.
Earlier, Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin discussed with representatives of the US Department of Justice a special tribunal for Russia.
Recall that in May, a coalition of 37 countries met in Estonia to create a Special Tribunal for the crimes of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
