The German ambassador met with the Ukrainian finance minister and announced new assistance to Ukraine.
Germany will provide assistance to Ukraine of one billion euros. German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen wrote this on her Twitter page on May 29.
“I discussed with Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko the current state in the financial sector and the provision of grants (1 billion euros) to Ukraine of Germany. Advice on close cooperation between the finance ministries of our countries,” written by the ambassador.

Earlier, CNN reported that German authorities in recent weeks had reduced military assistance to Ukraine. In the past two months, only two batches of weapons have been transferred.
