Russia is at war with Ukraine’s civilian population, and not with the Armed Forces, Shmyhal said.
Russian occupiers have killed dozens of times more civilians in Ukraine than military personnel, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmigal said in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.
“This proves that the Russian and Russian armies are fighting against the civilian population of Ukraine, and not against our Armed Forces,” Shmihal stressed.
The UN calls the number nearly four thousand civilians dead and roughly the same number injured. At the same time, according to local authorities, more than 22,000 residents were killed in Mariupol alone.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the shelling in Kharkov, nine people were killed, including a father with a five -month -old son. The baby’s body was not immediately found – it was on the visor of the house. The blast wave grabbed the baby from his father’s arms and threw it aside. Another 19 people were injured.
