This was announced on June 18 by the Nikolaev Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
In order to prevent the occurrence of acute intestinal infections, the State Institution “Nikolaev OCCPH of the Ministry of Health” recommends not to use water for drinking purposes, not to swim in open water, not to use river fish (including dried, lightly salted, smoked). In addition, you should follow the rules of personal hygiene and treat your hands with antiseptics.
In Odessa, in water samples taken from the port, vibrio cholerae NAG of the 1st group according to Heiberg was found. The Odessa Mayor’s Office announced this in a telegram on June 16.

The mayor’s office explained that the isolated cholera-like NAG vibrios are not the causative agent of cholera, but cause acute intestinal infections.
