In the affected regions, the situation is:
- in the Kherson region, 47 settlements were actually flooded, 33 of them (3,815 houses) in the territory controlled by Ukraine, 14 in the temporarily occupied. 2,620 people were evacuated, including 160 children. Four people died. 11 people were injured as a result of shelling during evacuation activities. 13 people are listed as missing;
- in the Nikolaev region 31 settlements were flooded. 936 people were evacuated, including 167 children. One person died;
- in the Dnipropetrovsk region there is no water supply for more than 89 thousand subscribers in 26 settlements. Together with local authorities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs carries out the supply of drinking and technical water.
We are trying to continue evacuation measures, but the enemy is mercilessly shelling. We work for the life and safety of people, the department notes.
