The evacuated civilians from the flooded settlements, where the water level has risen due to the enemy’s blowing up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, are used by the invaders for cover. People are resettled in boarding houses and recreation centers along with units of the invaders in order to hide from shelling. This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for June 8.
In the settlements of the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, the Russian invaders continue to use the consequences of the crime they committed for their own purposes, the General Staff noted.
Recall that on June 8, the Russian army fired on the building of school No. 2 in the temporarily occupied Oleshko, Kherson region. In this educational institution, people gathered from houses flooded as a result of the explosion of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
