The liquidation of the consequences of the explosion by the Russians of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station in southern Ukraine continues.

As of 20:55 on June 8, 2,339 people were evacuated from the flooded areas, including 120 children. 563 people were saved, including 28 children. 201 people needed the help of a psychologist. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Telegram.
There are nine evacuation points in the areas affected by the floods. Since the beginning of work, the Rescue Service has received 856 appeals from citizens.
It is preliminary known that 32 settlements and 3,625 houses on the right bank of the Dnieper are now flooded.
Meanwhile, the Oleshkovsky mayor Yevgeny Ryshchuk said that nine people died in the occupied Oleshki in the Kherson region due to flooding. The number of missing people cannot yet be established, but hundreds of people remain on rooftops.
Recall, the Foreign Ministry reported that Ukraine and the UN agreed on the evacuation of victims after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station from the occupied territories on the Left Bank. UN relief and evacuation units will go to the affected areas in the temporarily occupied territories as soon as Russia provides access and security guarantees.
