From the occupied city of Oleshki in the Kherson region, employees of the National Police of Ukraine managed to evacuate a woman with two children who asked for rescue on the roof of a flooded house. This was announced on the evening of Thursday, June 8, by the National Police.
“The network was hit by a video where in the occupied region of Oleshki, Kherson, a woman with two children on the roof of a house asked for safety,” the report said.
It was noted that fighters of one of the artillery brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which protects Ukraine in the southern direction, during a UAV flight found a woman with two children on the roof of one of the houses in the temporary occupied by Oleshki.
It was immediately decided to find ways to evacuate this family.
“And we succeeded. The woman with the children was evacuated and all the necessary help was given. Now they are in a safe place,” said the National Police.
It is not reported how victims can be evacuated from the flooded territory.
Earlier, new satellite images of the flooded area appeared on the network, in particular Oleshek.
