Poland handed over to Ukraine 10 large water tanks and 10 high-performance pumps for pumping water from areas flooded as a result of the Russian explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. About that know Minister of the Interior and Administration of Poland Mariusz Kaminsky.
“Due to the dramatic situation of the civilian population after Russia destroyed the dam on the Dnieper River in Nova Kakhovka, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and I decided to transfer to Ukraine 10 water tanks with a capacity of 18,000 liters and 10 high-performance that bomb,” the message said.
Kaminsky thanked the leadership of the Polish Fire Service, which provided this assistance.
To be remembered, Lithuanian Interior Minister Agne Bilotaite announced the country’s intention to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
It was also reported that international partners provided more than $170 million in aid to Ukrainian water utilities.
