The program will support Ukraine’s reforms, restoration and renewal, and its implementation will pave the way to the Roadmap for obtaining membership in the “club of successful countries”.
The program for Ukraine’s accession to the OECD was launched. It was launched by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal together with Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Matthias Kormann and British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley.
According to Shmyhal, the program will support Ukraine’s reforms, restoration and renewal, and its implementation will pave the way to the Roadmap for obtaining membership in the “club of successful countries.”
“Over the past six months, we have made significant progress in deepening cooperation with the OECD. In February, Ukraine joined the OECD working group on bribery, and in March, the Organization’s Liaison Office was opened in Kiev,” said the Prime Minister.
He noted that Ukraine hopes to join the OECD as a full member in the foreseeable future, because it is new investment projects, new foreign companies in the Ukrainian market and better living standards.
Recall that the OECD office began work in Kyiv.
