The United States of America will provide additional assistance for the security of Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday, June 6, by the coordinator of strategic communications of the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, The Guardian reports.
“I guarantee you that you will see additional security support packages in the coming days and weeks. We will continue to ensure Ukraine’s success on the battlefield, as President Biden has said,” Kirby said.
At the same time, he did not detail a new future aid package for Ukrainians.
It should be noted that the Pentagon announced the last package of military aid to Ukraine on May 31. It includes aircraft missiles, as well as Avenger air defense systems.
Recall that the United States is considering providing Ukraine with additional air defense assets as one of the priorities in future military aid packages.
