Ariel’s original voice made a small cameo in the live-action ‘The Little Mermaid’
The live-action “The Little Mermaid” is already a hit with audiences and at the box office worldwide. But Disney fans not only got to know a new Ariel, but also got to miss the original princess. This because Jodi Bensonwho provided the voice for the mermaid in the 1989 animation, made a small appearance in the live-action.

During the scenes in which the public can see Ariel and Eric walking around the prince’s island, the protagonist comes across a fair. In the middle of the stalls, a woman offers the newly transformed mermaid a plate of food, which Ariel readily accepts.
