The construction of new water pipelines is necessary to provide drinking water to Krivoy Rog, Nikopol and Marganet.
In connection with the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to build new main water pipelines to provide drinking water to the residents of Krivoy Rog, Nikopol and Marganets. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal.
“The next important decision is the provision of water to cities in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Today we are making a decision to allocate funds in the amount of UAH 1.5 billion for the construction of new main pipelines of water,” Shmyhal said.
Speaking of plumbing:

Karachunovskoe reservoir – Krivoy Rog – Southern reservoir;

Manganese – Nikopol;

Khortytsya – Tomakovka.
“The work will start today so as not to waste valuable time. The State Restoration Agency will be responsible for the implementation of the projects,” said Shmyhal.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers created a special commission that will deal with the elimination of the consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
As reported, 1335 houses were flooded in the right bank of the Kherson region as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station by the Russians. On the left bank, Korsunka and Dnepryan were completely flooded, and Sandy, Staraya Zburyevka, Cossack Camps, Kardashinka, Krynki, Naked Pier and Oleshki were partially flooded.
