The President said that Ukraine needs an air defense system and early warning systems.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine hoped South Korea would provide military equipment, including air defense systems, to counter Russian attacks. This was reported by Reuters.

Also, Zelensky, in an interview with the Chosun Ilbo newspaper in South Korea, thanked South Korea for the promise to send demining vehicles and humanitarian aid of about $230 million.

According to him, Ukraine needs air defense systems and early warning systems.

“I know that there are many restrictions on weapon support, but these principles should not be applied to defense systems and equipment to protect our facilities. The air defense system is not a weapon, but purely equipment to defense. We must have a “Sky Shield “to restore Ukraine and I very much hope that South Korea will support us in this area,” said the president.

Remember, as reported by the media, South Korea sent hundreds of thousands of ammunition to Ukraine.
