SBU operatives exposed an informant of the occupiers, who collected intelligence data for the enemy about the locations and routes of movement of the Defense Forces in the areas of Slovyansk, Liman and Nikolaevka. The attacker paid special attention to the routes of movement of Ukrainian military columns crossing the Seversky Donets River in the direction of Bakhmut. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
It turned out that the traitor was passing the coordinates of local factories and railway infrastructure to Russian intelligence. The enemy planned to use this information for air strikes on Ukrainian targets, including using drones.
Investigators found that the informant of the invaders was a resident of the liberated Liman, whom the invaders recruited remotely. The collaborator kept in touch with the intelligence officer of the assault battalion of the special forces game and the gunner of the tank company of the enemy tactical group “Dome”. The agent transmitted information through the forbidden social network Odnoklassniki.
Now the defendant is in custody, he has already been informed of suspicion for the crime committed. An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
Recall that in Zaporozhye, counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a former communist deputy of the Zaporozhye city council, who was pointing Russian missiles at the regional center.
