All four “shaheeds” that did not shoot down the air defense forces on the night of May 13 hit the Khmelnytsky region.
This was announced by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat on the air of the telethon.
The number of victims of the shelling of the Khmelnytsky region has increased to 11 people, said the mayor of Khmelnytsky Alexander Simchishin.
It is mainly about glass cuts. One person was hospitalized, but nothing threatens his life. Hundreds of houses were damaged.
The arrival was not in the regional center, but in the neighboring society, – said Simchishin.
However, as a result of hitting an object on the territory of one of the communities of the Khmelnytsky district in the regional center, educational institutions, medical institutions, office buildings, industrial facilities, multi-storey and individual residential buildings were damaged by explosive waves.
Simchishin noted that the number of wounded may increase, because people are constantly turning to the emergency room of the city hospital.
According to the mayor, as a result of the Russian attack, it was the housing infrastructure that was significantly damaged – hundreds of houses, these are multi-storey and private residential buildings. Roofs, ceilings, doors and windows were mostly damaged. Many educational institutions were damaged, as well as cultural facilities, industrial and commercial premises, and administrative buildings. Degree of damage – roofs, ceilings, balconies, doors, windows.
Meanwhile, Ukrzaliznytsia reported that for all passengers who are late on the road due to the attack in Khmelnitsky region, they have developed a solution on how to get to their destinations. Additional shuttle trains and buses for delivery have already been launched.
- If you are following from Kyiv in the direction of Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky, then you need to land on the shuttle – Kyiv – Kazatin – Vinnitsa – Khmelnitsky.
- If you are traveling from Kyiv in the direction of Ternopil and Lviv, then you need to transfer to the Krasnoye-Ternopil-Cherny Ostrov shuttle. Between Cherny Ostrov and Khmelnytsky, wait from 10:00 for free bus shuttles from the station to the station.
- If you are traveling from Vinnitsa, Zhmerinka, Khmelnitsky to Kyiv, shuttles to Kyiv are available every 2 hours. The first group of passengers from Vinnitsa to Kyiv with tickets for flight No. 716 will be picked up by train No. 868 Grechany-Kyiv.
- If you are traveling from Vinnitsa, Zhmerinka to Lviv, Uzhhorod, Przemysl, shuttles to Kazatin are available to you with a transfer to any flights of a western direction, which now follow a detour through Kazatin.
- If you are going from Khmelnitsky to Lviv, Uzhgorod, Przemysl, wait for a transfer to the bus from the station to Cherny Ostrov station, from where a shuttle will go to Krasnoe station every 2 hours.
