The number of victims in the Khmelnitsky region rose to 11 people. One person was hospitalized.
As a result of night attacks by Russian aggressors in the Khmelnytsky region, a building of one of the energy facilities was damaged by a blast wave. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Saturday, May 13.
It was noted that the supply of energy and gas in the region remains stable, there are no disconnections of consumers.
At the same time, in six frontline and border regions, some consumers remain without electricity due to damage as a result of the initial shelling. These are subscribers in Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions.
During the same day, electrical engineers were able to restore electricity to 28.9 thousand consumers. Most of them are subscribers in Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions. The energy system is stable.
In this regard, the mayor of Khmelnytsky Alexander Simchishin said that the number of victims has increased to 11 people.
“We now have 11 wounded, one person is hospitalized. None are life-threatening. Other people have glass cuts or bruises,” he said on the air of the telethon.
At the same time, the housing infrastructure suffered a lot, we are talking about hundreds of houses – apartments and private. Most of the roofs, ceilings, doors and windows were damaged. Educational institutions, administrative buildings and shops were also affected.
Recall that on the night of May 13, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones. Explosions were heard in several cities.
It was later revealed that the air defense forces shot down 17 of the 21 enemy drones launched by the Russians.
