The changes were made so that every heroic deed of the citizens who participated in the defense of Ukraine would not go unnoticed, be separately considered and noted at the highest level. In particular, this was stimulated by a large number of appeals and electronic petitions regarding the assignment of the title of Hero of Ukraine to one or another defender.
The expert group will include representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the commands of the types and types of troops, the commands of operational-strategic groupings of troops, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Tax Service, the State Emergency Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the State Special Communications and Protection Service Ukraine, State Security Department of Ukraine, Office of the President of Ukraine.
They will consider each heroic deed separately and make an idea about the conferment of state awards.
