In the Donetsk region, law enforcement officers found and exhumed the bodies of six dead residents. In total, since the beginning of the de-occupation of part of the region, 385 bodies of those who died as a result of the war crimes of the Russian Federation have been found, of which 309 were civilians. This was reported by the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The bodies of the dead were found in the village of Bogorodichnoye of the Svyatogorsk commune. The bodies of two old women and a man were dug up. Civilians were buried in one of the courtyards. The bodies of three other civilian men were exhumed in Liman.
In addition, after the de-occupation of Liman, a mass grave with dead servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered in the city cemetery. Currently, work is underway to identify each of them.
Among the total number of victims of the Russian invasion of the Donetsk region, whose bodies were found after the de-occupation, 174 men, 117 women, six children, the gender of another 12 people has not been established. So far, 282 people have been identified.
It will be remembered that the body of a man who died from Russian shelling was dug up near Izyum.
It was also reported that 122 bodies found in a mass grave near the city remain unidentified in Izyum, Kharkiv region.
