The authors of the plane burning explained that they did it to show that the war against Ukraine should end.

Partisans announced the burning of a Su-24 bomber in Novosibirsk, which was at the plant awaiting repair and modernization. It was reported by the All-People’s Movement of the Legion Freedom of Russia on Telegram.

“They wanted a holiday? They got it! Unknown patriots greeted the criminal authorities with a wink on Victory Day,” the message said.

On the morning of May 8, partisans destroyed a Su-24 combat aircraft in Novosibirsk on the territory of the Sukhoi aviation plant. The aircraft is at the aviation equipment site intended for repair and modernization. It burned successfully, no repair needed.

“We burned an aircraft to show that this war must end. You cannot fight for peace by destroying children and women in a neighboring country. The Kremlin can indeed “repeat” these crimes by the Nazi regime against humanity, and all who are involved, will answer for it before the court,” the movement said in a statement.

It will be recalled that in March, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian Su-24 aircraft in the direction of Bakhmut.
