Washington believes that Russia’s war against Ukraine went “not according to plan”, so the aggressor country resorts to shelling the civilian population of Ukrainian cities, as well as critical infrastructure.

He recalled that officially the United States constantly makes statements condemning the actions of the Russians.
Such actions and activities are absolutely unacceptable,” Patel said.
The representative of the American Foreign Ministry also noted that the war of Russian war criminal Vladimir Putin against Ukraine did not go according to the Kremlin’s plan. That is why Russia resorts to shelling the civilian population, throwing prisoners to the front and choosing escalation instead of peace.
The United States last week announced another aid package to Ukraine. Patel stressed that Washington will continue to provide support, as well as take steps to hold Russia accountable for what has been done.
