The Verkhovna Rada has extended the mobilization and martial law in Ukraine for another 90 days – until August 18, 2023.
This was announced by the People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak following the results of the plenary session of the Parliament on May 2.
Parliament continued martial law and general mobilization. The period of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine continues from 05:30 on May 20, 2023 for a period of 90 days, that is, until August 18, 2023. This was the seventh vote of Parliament for martial law since the start of the war. For the relevant resolutions No. 9259 and No. 9260 – 324 and 333 votes, Zheleznyak wrote.
As a reminder, the pre-extension expires in May. If this time the martial law and mobilization were extended for 90 days. Martial law has been continued for the seventh time since the start of a full-scale war.
