This money can become part of the proposal of the European Union for the next seven years, which is planned to be presented at the end of this month. In case of approval of this idea, financing will be in 2028. Bloomberg announced this with reference to sources.
It is noted that the new financing mechanism should be based on the current model. According to her, the European Commission provides Ukraine in the form of grants and preferential loans. Most of the trenches are associated with the reforms that the Ukrainian government should carry out to join the EU.
It is expected that the history of the fund will be discussed before the details of the next long -term financial structure (MFF) are announced.
Recall that in May the EU Council approved an increase of 150 billion euros of joint procurement in the field of security and protection. This new financial instrument will be able to issue loans for the production of the defense industry through joint purchases.
